He considers fulfilling his calling as a physician to be a privilege, being allowed to play an integral role in some of the most intimate and life-changing events in so many patients’ lives. Whether it is sharing in their joy and relief after bringing them back from a heart attack, or having the difficult conversations about end of life, Dr. Weslow is thankful and humbled to be a part of all of these moments with his patients and their families.
Having worked for big hospital systems his entire career, Dr. Weslow has made the move to independent practice because he can no longer reconcile his faith, values, principles, and practice of medicine with what is going on in the hospital systems of today.
Dr. Weslow is excited for this new phase of his life, as he remains on the cutting edge of medical technology while maintaining the basic precepts of medicine, focusing on the doctor-patient relationship and assisting patients in their healing of mind, body, and spirit, all while living out his calling to the beautiful profession of medicine, the way God intended it.
